Client Services Representative

Part-Time or Full-Time | Daytime, Evening or Weekend Availability
Immediate Opening | Starting rate $20 to $23 per hour

BCG Counselling Group has been strengthening relationships and facilitating the emotional, mental and spiritual development of our clients for over 40 years. Our team of diverse and professionally trained therapists offers a wide range of confidential counselling services for individuals, couples, children, and families. As a non‐for‐profit organization, we are passionate about building and rebuilding lives. In partnership with our generous donors, we also provide subsidized counselling services to those in need.

We are currently seeking a Client Services Representative to provide client services and administrative support to our team of the therapists at our in our Burnaby Heights office. This is a primarily in‐office position with some remote working opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have excellent people skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team‐player. Other qualifications include:

  • Proficient in standard office software applications
  • Experienced in Jane App client management software would be an asset
  • Effective oral and written communication with clients and public
  • Able to organize work and carry out the duties of the position with independence
  • Efficient in operating multiple telephone lines and other office equipment
  • Comfortable working with clients in a multicultural and diverse setting
  • Committed to upholding the highest degree of confidentiality
  • A current criminal record check

AREAS OF ESPONSIBILITY

The Client Services Representative has three (3) primary areas of responsibility: (1) Client Care,
(2) Clinical Team Support, and (3) Office Administration Support. The scope of responsibility includes
but not limited to:

  1. Client Care
    • Phone & email correspondence
    • Scheduling and managing client appointments
    • Processing client payments
    • Providing resources to community inquiries
  2. Clinical Team Support
    • Maintaining regular communication with our team of therapists
    • Coordinating therapists’ schedules
    • Providing administrative support to our clinical team
  3. Office Administration Support
    • Performing general office and admin duties

COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIP

The Client Services Representative will report to and receive support from the Director of Business
Operations. They shall have regular communication and in‐person meetings to communicate updates
and address concerns.
